I started building this locomotive about 4 years ago from an old Acorn kit (now produced by Mercian models). The kit has an etched nickle silver chassis, with etched brass for most of the body work along with some white metal parts. All the fittings were a mixture of white metal and loss wax brass. 

The kit itself is a nice build but does need a certain amount of experience to complete satisfactorily and also a certain amount of reference material as the plans are a basic set of instructions. 

The locomotive is yet to have its final coat of paint but will be in late GWR non-lined green and will have a Bristol Bath rd depot number.
